Ant Spray Recipe

Ant Spray Recipe

This handy, non-toxic spray kills ants and cleans your counters while you’re at it, talk about multi-tasking!  Every fall our kitchen gets attacked by ants and I keep this on hand at all times.  The soap dries up the ants and the peppermint is a natural ant repellent.  Now you  can feel good about zapping those little invaders without exposing your family to nasty chemicals.  Oh yeah, it also smells really good!

Ingredients:

Supplies:
  • 16 oz spray bottle
Directions:
  • Fill spray bottle with water
  • Add liquid soap and essential oil
  • Shake to mix

This recipe was inspired by the book Clean House, Clean Planet by Karen Logan: http://www.amazon.com/Clean-House-Planet-Karen-Logan/dp/0671535951/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1345489543&sr=1-1&keywords=clean+house%2C+clean+planet.  It’s a really good book full of homemade cleaning recipes and a lot of good information to back them up.  A very worthwhile read!
