Deodorant Spray Recipe

Deodorant Spray Recipe

I have been looking for an effective, all natural deodorant for years and this is the best I’ve found.  I’ve tried herbal deodorant sticks, roll ons, vinegar sprays, salt crystals… They worked to some degree but I was never satisfied with them.  This is a fresh little spray that’s easy to make and simple to use.  Instead of masking odors or clogging your sweat ducts, it helps keep your armpits clean so that smelly bacteria doesn’t breed.

Deodorant Spray Recipe (Time: 3 minutes)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (8 oz) water
  • 1 Tablespoon baking soda
  • 5 drops tea tree or lavender essential oil

Supplies:

  • 8 oz spray bottle

Directions:

  • Fill the spray bottle with water, baking soda and essential oil.
  • Shake until the baking soda is completely dissolved (if it’s not fully dissolved it’ll clog the nozzle).

Use: Give a quick shake before each use (sometimes the baking soda accumulates at the bottom) and spray your armpits or wherever you feel smelly.  It helps to reapply after workouts, especially if you rinse/wipe your pits first.
