Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster Seat Review

Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster Seat Review

We went through a lot of trial and error trying to find a good high chair for Luke.  Between us and our parents, we used 2 different full size high chairs, a travel high chair and a booster seat.  Surprisingly the booster seat was the hands down favorite.  We used the Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster Seat.  It’s a compact seat that straps on to an ordinary kitchen chair and has a detachable tray that snaps on and off for easy cleaning (it’s also dishwasher safe).  We got the booster when Luke was 9 or 10 months old and he instantly loved it.  Sitting at the table brought him into middle of the action and helped get  him more interested in eating (he ate solids late).  I loved it because it hardly takes up any space, it’s easy to clean, it’s super portable and it was cheap (roughly $25 compared to $100+ for a regular high chair).  And as a bonus, it’s lasted us a really long time.  The tray has 3 settings which accommodate for different size babies/kids.  Luke is now 2 1/2 and he still happily uses the booster for most meals!  This is a big help because it keeps him at the table when we’re eating (which can sometimes be a struggle) and it contains most of the mess (and toddlers create a LOT of mess!).

Overall, this was one of our best baby purchases and I really don’t have any complaints with it.  If I had it to do over again, I’d scrap full size high chairs all together and this is the only chair I would buy.  It does the job just as well, Luke preferred it and it saves both money and space.  Great product!
